Southampton striker Shane Long fell victim to just that against Manchester City at St Mary’s on Saturday, and he was not at all pleased, to say the least.
The Irishman came on as a 60th-minute substitute, with Pep Guardiola’s side up 1-0, but 22 minutes later, he was recalled to the bench.
Before finding a seat, though, the striker engaged Claude Puel and his staff in an intense staring battle, saying just what he thought of the move without actually saying anything.
