Former Barcelona Star Bojan Krkic Achieves Rare Feat After Finding the Net Against Bayern Munich

?Stoke forward Bojan Krkic has achieved a rare feat whilst playing for loan club Mainz in the Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon.

The former Barcelona star gave his side a shock lead at the Allianz Arena when he put the ball into the back of the Bayern Munich net in just the third minute.

Not only was it the Spaniard’s first goal for his new club, but Opta suggest that it now means he joins a rare list of players to have scored in all four of Europe’s top leagues.

That stat does of course assume that La Liga, Serie A, the Premier League and Bundesliga are indeed the top divisions in the continent, but regardless of such, Bojan has found the net in all four leagues (plus the Eredivisie) to show he can score a goal in whichever country he plays in.

The 26-year-old, who famously began his career with Barcelona, has also played for Roma, AC Milan, Ajax and Stoke, and whilst it would appear he continues to fall away from the top of the game, he has clearly retained his prowess when it comes to scoring.

Bojan is now the seventh player to score in all four of Europe’s top leagues and becomes the very first Spanish player to do so.

Of the other six players, the better known names include the likes of Kevin-Prince Boateng, Obafemi Martins and former Denmark international Jon Dahl Tomasson.

For those struggling to remember those three, you may have an even more difficult remembering the other names on this prestigious list.

Romanian duo Florin Raducioiu and Gheorghe Popescu, as well as former Cameroon international Pierre Wome, are the other three names who Bojan will be joining. Whilst the other members of the club may not be household names, they have all shown that they are capable of playing in different leagues across Europe.
