?Stoke City have released the new kit for their 2017/18 campaign.
The club unveiled the new threads from Macron on Monday in a cool video, and fans seem genuinely pleased with the home kit. The away kit, however, did not get nearly as much love.
Traditional red and white stripes were kept on the home jersey, while the away kit comes in blue with a white collar and red and white pinstripe grid in the chest area.
“I think it is fair to say that the response to the new strips has been mixed and hopefully the away strip will grow on people when they see it, rather than via images that have been leaked in the last couple of days,” said Angela
“I am no great judge though, last year I said our away strip was too similar to another club’s and it turned out to be a huge success!”
James Knowles, a Stoke fan and Sentinel contributor, chimed in: “The home shirt is a classic stripe, I really like it. The collar is certainly going to be something that grows on people too.
“The away kit perhaps isn’t everybody’s cup of tea, but great to see the red and white incorporated. A lovely smart white trim around the neck too.
“The main thing with these new kits is that we win football matches wearing them…bring on next season!”
But then the away kit came along, and Twitter was not happy…
Think Stevie Wonder could have done a better job designing stoke’s away kit, absolutely dire

Does the kid who won the competition to design the new #Stoke kit get a kit for his troubles, or can he avoid having to wear it? #RetroNoNo
