Paul Clement Set to Bag Bonuses of £750k Should He Keep Swansea in the Premier League

?Swansea boss Paul Clement is set to land £750k in bonuses if he keeps Swansea out of the relegation zone.

Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Everton saw the Swans move up to 17th place, leaving Hull City in the bottom three of the table by just one point after their shocking defeat against Sunderland on the same day.

In a ?post-match interview, Clement had his say on the situation stating his team had a lift from the results of Hull and Crystal Palace, giving his side the chance to take the opportunity and deliver against Everton.

When asked about the two remaining matches, Clement said: “We’re just focusing on Sunderland now – They had a very good result today.

“We know it’s a tough place to go because they have such good fans. But with the form we’re in, we’re confident that we can go anywhere and get a result.

“We’re gonna be working really hard this week in training. Gonna be focused – only gonna be thinking about Sunderland on Saturday”.

According to reports from the ?Daily Mail, the Swansea boss’ bonus will be worth one year of his given salary with the likeliness of an upgrade written into his two-year contract when he replaced Bob Bradley as manager back in January.

Since then, Swansea have won seven matches, drawn twice, and lost 10 times in the Premier League.

The former Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and PSG assistant manager has gained a reputation at the Liberty Stadium for his strict work ethic as well as the improvements in the players’ training; encouraging the youth team staff to take part in senior meetings.

Swansea’s last two matches in this year’s campaign is against Sunderland and West Bromwich Albion.

Should he continue this recent form, Paul Clement’s Swansea City will definitely avoid relegation and continue playing in the Premier League.
