?Crystal Palace are hopeful of tempting Marco Silva to leave Hull City and replace Sam Allardyce as their manager, although they will have to fight off interest from FC Porto.
Allardyce shocked Palace on Tuesday when he resigned after leading them to Premier League safety five months after taking charge last December, the former England manager saying he wanted to go out on a high.
Palace are keen to act fast in appointing a replacement, with Silva being strongly considered after Hull’s relegation, according to The Guardian.
Silva has made a strong impression since joining Hull in December, when the club were bottom of the Premier League.

Should the Eagles fail in convincing Silva to turn down Porto and take the job at Selhurst Park, names such as former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini and Burnley boss Sean Dyche are being touted as possible alternatives.
