Burnley Readying a Bid for Everton Outcast Oumar Niasse After Impressive Loan Spell at Hull

?Sean Dyche and Burnley could look to make a move for Everton misfit Oumar Niasse, after retaining their Premier League status this season.

Niasse enjoyed a promising loan spell under Marco Silva at Hull City, but couldn’t prevent the Tigers’ eventual relegation.

The Senegalese striker still remains in exile at his parent club Everton, and was instantly demoted to the Under-23 squad by Ronald Koeman when he took over the club.

Now, the ?Sunday Mirror reports that the Clarets will look to Niasse to strengthen their attacking options, after a progressive, if travel sick, first season back in the Premier league, where they reached the hallowed 40 points mark, and finished six points clear of the relegation zone, where many pundits thought they may end up.

Niasse proved at Hull that despite his misstep to Goodison Park, he’s a capable and decent striker, and could provide at the very least some competition for Clarets strikers like Andre Gray, Sam Vokes, and Ashley Barnes.

Interestingly, Gray, Burnley’s top scorer this season, is being linked with a move to Everton, and Niasse could potentially be used as part of a swap deal for the Englishman, or indeed as a like-for-like replacement, if Gray were to leave.
