?Chelsea’s title-winner Asmir Begovic is reportedly undergoing a medical at Bournemouth, as Eddie Howe’s first signing of this summer.
According to the ?Express, the Bosnian international will be signed for a fee rumoured to be around £15m, although Sky Sports’ Twitter account claims that the bid is as low as £10m.
The Cherries reportedly tried to sign the former Portsmouth goalkeeper during the January transfer window, but Chelsea put the kibosh on the move, as they hadn’t found a replacement for the 29-year-old.

Begovic is still very much capable of being a first choice goalkeeper, and is keen to show it after just eight appearances this season for Antonio Conte’s side.
For Bournemouth it would be a remarkable coup, with Begovic bringing a wealth of experience to a side that’s only in it’s second season in England’s top flight, and Howe should be commended for identifying positions that need strengthening in his Cherries side, with Artur Boruc on the wane at 37-years-old.
The Daily Mail also claims that Begovic will not be making the move to Dean Court alone, and that the south coasters have been scouting a number of the Blues’ fringe players, and will attempt to lure them away with the promise of more consistent first team opportunities.

After a very promising loan spell in the first half of the season, Howe may well look to sign Dutch defender Nathan Ake permanently, although they would almost certainly have to break their transfer record to sign such a versatile, talented, and young player.
There even rumours linking Bournemouth to recently released cub icon John Terry, who would join fellow free agent Jermaine Defoe at the club, to provide even more leadership an experience.
